Plant Powered Chocolate Porridge

Bored of your usual plain porridge? Need some new inspo for your breakfast?? I've got you covered! I've had this and boy for the past couple days and needless to say, I am obsessed. Chocolatey, creamy and plant based, what more could you want from porridge?


60g Oats

2 tsp chia seeds

2 heaped tsp cacao powder

1/2 tsp maca powder

250ml plant milk of choice (I like to use almond or coconut milk)


Date syrup

Cacao nibs

Milled linseed

Coconut sugar


1 - Put the oats, chia seeds, maca powder and cacao powder in a pan and mix it together.

2 - Add the plant milk and put over a medium heat.

3 - Stir continuously until it's all combined.

4 - Cook for 5-10 mins and keep stirring until it is a consistency you like (you can add more milk if you like it more milky).

5 - Pour into a bowl, add your toppings and enjoy!
