Vegan Pizza

I shared this pizza on my Instagram stories a few days ago and everyone went mad for it! So wanted to share the recipe here as well so you can easily refer back to it! You can play around with whatever toppings you like to suit your tastebuds but highly recommend trying the caramelised onions as they are to die for.


Pizza base: 250g self raising flour 140ml water 2 tbsps olive oil (recipe from @thelittleblogofvegan) Toppings: Tomato passata Olives Peppers @lindamccartneyfoods vegetarian sausage Caramelised onions @buteislandfoods vegan cheese.


For the base Mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl to make the dough. Flour a clean surface and knead the dough a little until smooth. Then roll out the dough into a pizza shape base and place on an oven tray.

For the toppings

Spoon the passata onto the base and spread evenly.

Add all your toppings (you can choose any toppings you like).

To make the caramelised onions - finely slice a red onion and gently sweat in a pan with a little olive oil until soft. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar and a cap of maple syrup and continue to fry on a low heat until they go sticky.

Cook in the oven for 20-25 mins at 180 degrees or until the crust is golden.

Enjoy with chips and ketchup (OK ketchup is optional but if you don't have ketchup with chips we cant be friends)
